First off tell us a little bit about yourself.
SCOTT FRAZIER: I am originally from eastern Kentucky, in the Appalachian Mountains. I have been in the foothills here though for 35+ years, so I am mostly Alabama native now. However, I do have bluegrass in me. I have one daughter, aged 25 and one granddaughter, aged 3. I love to laugh and make others laugh as well!
SCOTT: I came to Excellance at age 19 on the referral of the Electrical Designer at the time, Loren Kirkbride. I had been friends with his son for many years and he thought I would be able to learn the job, even though I had no experience at the time. The part I like most about my job is the same as many others here. That is the feeling of helping the front-line life savers. It is a feeling of pride that we play a small part in the big picture of saving the life of a family’s loved ones.
If you could trade places with anyone in the world for a day—who would it be and why?
SCOTT: This is a tough one! I think I would chose Pope Francis. I would love to have access to the vast and well-guarded historical records of the Vatican. Plus, that hat and the Pope mobile? Come on, that would be fun!
What do you like to do in your spare time?
SCOTT: First and foremost is spending time with my darling granddaughter, she is such a joy! My personal hobbies include camping, boating, playing guitar, and poker.
If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life—what would it be?
SCOTT: Another tough one as I so enjoy foods and trying new things. If forced to eat one thing, I am going to have to go with Pot Roast. I get my proteins and veggies and it is delicious!
Why don’t you believe in Santa?
SCOTT: Because I have never seen any scientific proof of his existence! Additionally, I never got anything I asked that guy for!
