Our Employee Highlight today features Project Manager, Tina Biller. Tina has been with Excellance for 13 years and we decided it was a great time to ask her about her experiences this far.

First off, tell us a little bit about yourself and your role at Excellance.

Tina Biller: I have a degree in Paralegal. I started working at Excellance in December 2002 in the Accounting office. I then moved to the Sales Administration office for about a year and a half before moving to my current Project Manager position in March 2006.

Prior to Excellance, what were you doing for work and what brought you to Excellance?

Tina Biller: I worked in the Business office of a car dealership. After my hubby asked me to marry him, we decided to move to the Athens/Madison area in Alabama.

What are some things about you that people would be surprised to know?

Tina Biller: I’m a country girl, not a city girl. I once shot the head off of a five foot Timber rattlesnake.

Let’s say someone was creating a video montage of your life. What are your top highlights and what song is playing?

Tina Biller: It would be the birth of my daughter (she is now 16) and marrying my husband of 11 years. Music? I’m too busy dancing to the music to relate it to a moment in time.

Tina is known around the office for orchestrating practical jokes and laughter. Many of the employees have nicknamed her “The Queen.” So we asked one of her coworkers what they like most about working with Tina and how she got her office nickname.

Lisa Barfield:
Tina is a great person. She is fun to work with and she puts her all into her work. She typically has to manage the most unusual and more complex projects and does a great job. Tina takes the bull by the horns and gets the job done. Tina is the queen of the Sales Department! We all enjoy working with her and often ask her for help or opinion and she’s always willing to help.
